Knife Sharpening

Knife sharpening service: $10 /knife

How to:

  1. Wrap up your knives individually so they don’t get damaged during transport.  Newspaper & masking tape works well.
  2. Drop them off on Tuesday during shop hours.
  3. Pick them up on Wednesday during shop hours.

This service is not for sharpening serrated blades (bread knives), and not for repairing chips, bends, dents, broken handles, but some small chips might be removed in the sharpening process.

Knives are hand-sharpened on a collection of diamond and Arkansas stones, the same stones used for the daily sharpening of hand tools.  Your knives will be sharpened with olive oil, cleaned with alcohol and wrapped up for your pickup.

Please be careful.  Sharpened knives are sharp!
