Famous designers are known for their style. The rest of us need to develop the magical skill of mind-reading. Customers don’t know what they want (no offense, we know they try), and communicating a style can’t be done without reading minds. Failure to properly read minds could result in a catastrophe; a very expensive mistake.
Oh well. More yoga, meditation, “zen”, build up that intuition muscle. We must find a way to see through the strange gibberish, and turn that into a work of art that resembles the mental image in their heads. And then humility: let them think it’s all their idea. The world of design is a strange place.
